FAQ

Questions, answered.

Do I need a PBX, SIP trunk, or hardware?
No. Calls run through a managed voice provider (Twilio) behind the scenes. There's nothing to rack, no SIP to configure, and no desk phones. Assign a number to a rep and you're live.
Do reps have to change how they work?
Not really. They place and answer business calls in the app on their assigned number — it looks and feels like the iOS Phone app. Recording, transcription, scoring, and CRM sync all happen automatically after that.
We already use Aircall / OpenPhone / another cloud phone — what does switching look like?
There's no rip-and-replace. Each rep gets a new managed number to make business calls from going forward — nothing to decommission on day one. Most teams run both lines side by side while numbers roll out, then retire the old one once every rep has moved over. Porting an existing number in is on the roadmap, not available yet.
Is recording calls legal?
An audible consent announcement plays before every call is bridged, and a consent event is logged for each one. Recording laws vary by jurisdiction, so you configure the consent policy that fits the territories you call into — the platform gives you the evidence trail.
Which CRMs do you support?
HubSpot today, connected per-workspace with a Private App token that's verified when you save it. CRM access sits behind a provider interface, so additional CRMs can be added without changing call logic.
How is telephony usage billed?
Every paid seat includes monthly prepaid telephony credits: $10 on Team, $20 on Growth, and $35 on Scale. Credits cover US & Canada calling and number rental first. If you use more, you top up prepaid balance from Billing before more Twilio calling or number renewal can happen. Wallet balances never go negative.
Can reps delete recordings or turn them off?
No. Recording is server-side and mandatory by design — reps can't disable consent, delete recordings, or change their caller ID without permission. That's the whole point of a blackbox.
Can I try it before committing?
Yes — we run a free design-partner pilot. Create a workspace, add a rep, assign a number, and run a call through the full pipeline. Because time-to-value is your first recorded call, you see a real transcript and QA score on day one — not after a ramp.
Is my data locked in — can I get everything out if I ever leave?
Yes. Your call history — transcripts, QA scores, and call metadata — exports to CSV any time from the dashboard. Recordings live in your own signed-URL-gated storage, never bundled behind a proprietary viewer. There's no long-term contract holding your content hostage.
